Uinta Trail Council

Picture
The Uinta Trail Council was formed in the summer of 2009 by a handful of motorcycle enthusiasts who saw a need for the general public to get involved in the stewardship of Utah’s motorized single track.  Since inception, we have been constantly evolving to meet the demands of developing and maintaining such a large network of trails as is found here in our beloved Uinta Mountains. Through the support and hard work of volunteers like you we hope to reestablish long forgotten single track as well as preserve and maintain the existing trail systems in our own backyard.

Our Mission

To provide a high quality riding experience to the general public through our volunteer efforts to:

1. Identify and map trail locations so riders know the extent of our trail systems hence informing the riding community where they are and are not authorized to ride.

2. Maintain trail systems in the Uinta National Forest through the volunteer efforts of the local community, giving the general public a sense of ownership of this valuable resource.

3. Develop and coordinate a working relationship with the national and state agencies whose job it is to bestow upon us, its citizens, the bounties of its beautiful forest. Hence creating a means by which we may influence the political process, which dictates the extent of our access to ride.
